Carlo graduated with a Diploma in Civil Engineer Technologist from Humber College of Applied Arts & Technology (University of Guelph) in 1981.
During college he worked as a Public Works Inspector for 3 years for the City of Toronto and after he graduated he worked in the Insurance industry before moving into the hospitality business.
In 1985, in conjuction with his father, Joe Parentela, they opened “Le Jardin de Toronto Banquet Hall” as a one room banquet facility, a year later, Carlo purchased the business.
In 1995, Carlo took over the catering operations at Hunters’s Glen Golf Club in Kleinburg. Within the first year sales at Hunters’s Glen increased by 300% and to over 450% in the second year with the addition of a tent facility and then a second tent facility. Operations ceased in 2005 with the new residential development.
In 1998, launched the Private Box catering of the newly created Hershey Centre in Mississauga, as well as, managed the operations of the Icebreakers Sport Café.
In 1999, expanded operations of Le Jardin Banquet Hall from a 16,000 sq. ft. facility to 50,000 sq. ft. with the addition of the 34,000 sq. ft. West Wing- sales doubled.
In 2005, created a new corporate sales division and corporate sales dramatically increased.
In 2006, developed a 100 acre parcel of land at Yonge Street and Mapleview Drive in Barrie, Ontario into 500 residential lot subdivision.
In 2007, doubled the size of original wing (East Wing) of Le Jardin Special Event Centre and sales increased by 30%. Re-named “Chateau Le Jardin Event Venue”.
Developer of www.CaterX.ca, one of the top Event Catering softwares which has not been released to the market as of yet, but used for the last 10 years by Le Jardin.
In 2009, Carlo purchased www.FindABanquetHall.com, an Event Venue directory. This was a dormant website which now appears on the first page of Google when searching for Banquet Halls, ahead of all its competitors.
Carlo is the creative force behind Long Valley Productions: the parent company of Last Bride Standing, Toronto’s Bridal Show and www.FindABanquetHall.com. During 2009, Carlo created the TV show and contest, “Last Bride Standing” which became a hit over two seasons in Canada on Sunday TV. It taped its fourth Season in HD, as well as 3D – the first Reality TV show in the history of the world to be filmed in 3D. The first two seasons aired in the US on Wedding Central.
In 2010, Carlo created “Toronto’s Bridal Show”, which became the Bridal show attend. The live taping of Last Bride Standing was held at the show and has now become the second largest show by attendees and vendors out of six shows in less than one year in Toronto. It was sold to Canada’s Bridal Show.
In May 2018 Carlo launched an elite monthly exclusive Dinner Convert/Show series, members only, Après Noir is an exclusive epicurean and international show cabaret with such talents as Drake, Jennifer Hudson, Bobby Flay, Giada De Laurentiis, David Blaine, Rob Thomas as well as a multitude of local and international talent.
Carlo is presently working on the final expansion of Le Jardin, with the addition of the new 12 storey Hotel adjacent to the Event Venue, a Tribute brand Hotel by Marriot, to still to be named. The Hotel will feature 250 guest suites and 52 office suites geared towards business in the hospitality industry. This prestigious hotel will also feature a 5 star Restaurant, a Mexican Restaurant, full service Spa & Wellness Centre, Fitness Centre & Indoor Pool, Rof Top Pool and Event Space, member’s only Wine Club, Cafe & Market and Indoor Golf in the Venue.

Chris Parentela is a Senior Consultant with a Masters of Engineering from the University of Toronto.
Chris is a member of the supply Chain & Manufacturing Operations group at Deloitte, with a focus on warehousing, logistics and distibution.
Prior to Deloitte, Chris served as the Program Manager of eCommerce Logistics for Walmart Canada, where he led the start-up of an apparel eCommerce facility and the implementation of the Walmart.ca in-store pick program.
Graduated from St. Michael’s College School, Toronto, then from Ryerson University, P. Eng. with Honours.
Julian worked at Château Le Jardin while student, beginning with maintance, then as a waiter an over to sales, working first on Toronto’s Bridal Show and then for Château Le Jardin as a Social Sales Consultant.
Upon graduation, he went to work as a project co-ordinator for EllisDon, a world-leading construction and building services company working specifically on the York University TTC project . After working there for a calendar year, Julian left to work as a Project Coordinator for Tridel where he learned the intricacies of high rise residential development. After reaching the 20th floor, he left again to join the family business at Château Le Jardin, as Vice President.
Natasha Parentela is a rising professional in the corporate and elite event industry in Toronto, with a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Economics from Ryerson University.
